KidBase

Overview of the programme

Overview

KidBase is a student based record keeping system for New Zealand schools. It has been written to cater for the record keeping needs of modern schools, producing a variety of reports, lists and other printouts. It has also been written to Ministry guidelines, so that it automatically generates the annual returns that all schools must produce each year.

KidBase is designed to be simple and straightforward to use. Minimal instruction is needed, and navigation around the programme is straight-forward and intuitive.

A Help File is included, providing answers to commonly asked questions, and explanations of every field used in the programme. All the codes used in KidBase are explained in this file.

The programme is written in FileMaker Pro, and other modules and programmes may be linked to KidBase to expand its use in the school environment.
