Overview of the programme

Overview

ScoreCard is a comprehensive programme to handle Progressive Achievement Test (NZCER) data. Teachers administer the test, and mark them. Then the raw score is entered into ScoreCard, which automatically calculates scaled scores, percentiles and stanines for each student.

It is simple to use, and can produce a wide range of analysis for individuals, and for groups or cohorts. This analysis can be viewed in table form or as bar graphs.

Student names can be quickly and easily imported into the programme through either KidBase or YardStick. Or alternatively, names can be manually entered if the programme is used as a stand-alone solution.

The programme is written in FileMaker Pro, and other modules and programmes may be linked to ScoreCard to expand its use in the school environment.

  • KidBase - to handle student records for school administration purposes
  • YardStick for student assessment and reports incorporating PAT data from ScoreCard
